Whois.com has been hacked - the site is currently down with a 'not found' message.

The hackers left a cheeky message 'Catch us if you can :D ' with the tag line 'We're not the first but we are the best'. Hopefully the hackers have just replaced the index page instead of deleting the hard drive.

Somebody has some skills. Pity they wouldn't put them to some good use and make the next big internet thingy instead of hacking sites. Never quiet saw the point of hacking sites just to get some credit with peers. It's destroys the hard work of others, doesn't make you money and gets you a bunch load of curses and evil thoughts from net users...
