This is pretty cool. Someday we'll all be reading magazines on e-reader type devices, able to read text, pictures, play videos and music, handle animation, zoom in, out, add to our social networks - almost like a tablet. Just don't spill the breakfast all over it!

It seems Google won't be the first to have an operating system (OS) with advertising running on it. Microsoft has got in ahead of Google, opening up Windows 7 to desktop advertising in a trial that will go on until October 2010.
